“The Renaissance Soul” was written by Margaret Lobenstine (1943–2015). She founded Alternative Approaches, a career and life-coaching business, and worked with more than five thousand clients. Ms. Lobenstine was a peace and justice activist, insightful life coach, and ardent teacher. A Renaissance Soul herself, she created three successful—but entirely different—businesses. “The Renaissance Soul” was her first book, and the only one she published.
Since Ms. Lobenstine’s death, her business partner, Shiri Dori-Hacohen, continued maintaining her Renaissance Souls website in order to continue Ms. Lobenstine’s legacy and offer valuable information and advice to Renaissance Souls worldwide.
Dr. Shiri Dori-Hacohen is the CEO & Co-founder of AuCoDe, a software startup, and holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is also a Renaissance Soul herself.
